Rev. Keaton J. Brown was born to the late Rev. Dr. Frederick and Angela Brown. He came to Christ and was baptized into the St. John First Baptist Institutional Church, Palmetto, FL at the age of five. He graduated from the University of South Florida in 2009, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Rev. Brown is passionate about increasing his knowledge of the Word of God. In 2024, he received his Master of Divinity degree, with a concentration in Church & Ministry, from Regent University. In 2015, he was married to his childhood crush Cheri Brown (Wright). The Lord blessed their union with three boys Abram, Kendrick (in Heaven), and Kai. Additionally, Rev. Brown has been active in a variety of creative ministry settings such as the Real Talk Man Talk live YouTube show, blogging, and contributions to the African American Pulpit Society. Rev. Brown is a 2009 inductee of Progressive Black Men Inc. USF Chapter, and a 2021 initiate of the Xi Psi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, in Sarasota, FL. In January 2013, he preached his initial sermon. He served the First Baptist Church of Progress Village in variety of ways by leading the Young Adult Ministry and serving as the Pastor of Discipleship before being called to Mt. Tabor. Rev. Brown has also lectured at the Mt. Pilgrim Association on multiple occasions. The Lord has mightily blessed his preaching and teaching ministry to preach at numerous revivals and services including, the National Youth and Children’s Convention (NBCA Inc.) in Dallas, TX. Rev. Brown engages in Urban Apologetics and assists people in grasping God’s Word using exciting methods.
